So I haven’t posted any homemade beauty tips in AGES! I’ve got a few that I’m going to be posting over the next few weeks now that Autumn is officially here and our beauty routines need a bit of a shake up!

I’ve got a new face mask for you to try to get your complexion glowing for this season!

What you will need:

  • 2-3 Green Tea teabags/ loose Green Tea
  • Natural yoghurt
  • Turmeric
  • Mixing bowl
  • Facemark brush (optional)

How to make your mask:

Brew the teabags in boiling water for about 1 minute. Take out the teabags and leave them to cool before emptying the green tea into a bowl. If you are using loose tea, use a strainer to capture the brewed ltea leaves. Next add 1 tablespoon of natural yoghurt and a pinch of turmeric to the green tea and mix together. Apply this to your face in an even layer. Leave on for 15-20 mins and gently wipe off with warm water.

The benefits:

Green Tea – This is a natural antioxidant that also has anti-ageing properties. It can help reduces fine lines, sun damage and dark spots. Green tea can also improve your complexion by reducing inflammation and healing blemishes and scars. In addition to this, green tea has cleansing and ant-bacterial properties that fight acne and slough dead skin cells.

Natural yoghurt – This a great for tightening the skin pores and sloughing off dead skin cells to reveal healthy skin. It is also a natural moisturiser and skin brightener.

Turmeric – This has many fantastic benefits to the skin. Turmeric reduces acne and inflammation and also reduces oil secretion from the sebaceous glands. Turmeric is also great for tightening the skin and diminishing marks.

Try it and let me know what you think!

Love Nimisha

xoxo
