It’s August already!! Crazy! As it’s the summertime, I thought it would only be fitting to make this month’s Fashion Favourites all about swimwear. But not just any type of swimwear… the ONE-PIECE.
One-piece swimsuits have always been fashionable however I would say that bikinis took over for a long time and were the ultimate beach and pool attire. However in recent years, swimsuits have made a huge comeback and is now appearing to be the most desired swimwear for the holidays. Personally I’m guilty of sticking to a bikini, however recently I have come across some gorgeous swimsuits, and although my next holiday isn’t until the end of the year, now is the perfect time to grab some of these beauties as they hit the end of summer sales!!

Cut-out has been a really big trend for the last few seasons and it’s not surprise that cut-out is big in swimwear also. I love the mesh panelled swimsuits. It’s a twist on cut-out and is stylish. Topshop always have gorgeous swimwear and I love their 60’s/70’s-look swimsuits. They are old-fashioned but completely fashionable. The Cool Printed Swimsuit by Filles à Papa is super trendy and reminds me of Khloe Kardashions ‘East Coast’ black swimsuit. Bandeau swimwear is not only popular in bikini’s but also in one-piece swimsuits and these ones by Bershka and River Island are gorgeous particularly as I’m loving the printed swimwear at the moment.
I’m hoping to catch a few of these pieces ASAP before all the summer stock turns in!
