I love abit of Gold… gold jewellery, gold makeup, and gold skirts. Maybe it’s the indian in me… who knows! Like most times I walk into Topshop, I just stand and stare at an item that I know I shouldn’t buy, then walk around for a while, only to find myself back at that item, all sensibility goes out the window and I have to have it. I’ve been in love with mid-length skirts since the start of spring and when I saw this gold foil pleated skirt, I thought it was perfect for this season. The gold hasn’t put me off wearing it in the day either; coupled with a new pair of boots and a comfy knit, it can totally be dressed down. From day and on to night, you can swap the knit and boots for some heels and a black crop, glammed up with a red lip. I’m just pretty in love with this skirt, it falls nicely, feels gorgeous and is way more versatile than you think!
Topshop are also doing a mini version of the skirt too… it looks pretty gorge! What are your thoughts?
