Growing up, one of my FAVOURITE TV show’s was ‘That’s 70’s Show’. If you never saw it, you had a deprived upbringing quite frankly, because not only did you not have the channel ‘Trouble’ (therefore didn’t watch a whole array of other immense television), you also didn’t get to see the start of blossoming careers for Ashton Kutcher, Mila Kunis, Wilmer Valderrama, Laura Prepon and Topher Grace (to name a few). Aside from being one of the funniest shows on TV for those 8 years, one can only appreciate their throwback into the 70’s era- a time for disco balls, funky flarey fashion, rock music and the rise of my forever favourite genre of music; rhythm and blues. Speaking of trends, 70’s fashion has hit the fashion world again all of a sudden, and I am absolutely loving this, because not only is it a chance to bring back suede… but it also means I can raid my mums cupboard again for some classic flares!!
I don’t know about you… but I’m going to embrace this #TB #Seventies.
When looking back at New York Fashion Week, there was a real presence of seventies fashion. In particular, Olivia Palermo absolutely rocked the trend all week long. Here are a few of my favourite looks of hers throughout the week.
Would you believe her brown skirt in the first picture is by Autograph, Marks and Spencer! Bring out that 70’s chic! Are you loving this trend?
